Awardwinning Kate Atkinsons “Life after Life” is a novel that explores the question “What if you had the chance to live your life again and again, until you finally got it right?”. “The reader on the 6.27” by Jean Paul Didier-Laurent is the French contribution to my project: Reading the World and is thus the 10th book in this context. I picked it up in an English small-town bookshop, because I liked the cover and found the plot interesting – it was also compared to Amelie, which is a form of storytelling that I enjoy.
